In general, it's never a good idea to mix marine fish that are from the same family. Marine species tend to be more aggressive toward each other from needing to establish territories. Anytime you add fish that are related, have the same colors or same shape, one may see the other as a rival. In the ocean, that means one gets chased off, but in a tank, there's nowhere it can go to get away from the other fish. Usually what will happen is that one will bully the other to the point it won't come out to eat, then it dies. This might work if you had a tank that was on the order of a few hundred gallons, but in a 12 gallon tank, you don't have adequate room for one clown (as an adult) let alone two.
