War is brutal. Every war is. The only difference is we have video posted on the internet. How did you feel after watching Al Qaeda videos of the Nick Berg decaptitation or the many other brutal murders posted on the internet by Al Qaeda? How did you feel when the planes flew into the WTC on 9/11 murdering 3,000 innocent people?

I think we are playing a dangerous game. These militias are not our friends, we merely have a common enemy. They will turn on us in a second, make no mistake. Now, if we can pull out in the short amount of time between AQ being destroyed and the Sunnis militias turning on us again, then we will be in good shape.

Honestly, I think it's about time we started using the same tactics our enemies use against us, and their own people. That may sound harsh, but the only time I remember seeing CNN being outraged about the insurgents or Al Quaeda's treatment of people was when a reporter was beheaded. And I don't think the military fully "trusts" those that turned to help us.

Sigh!
How is inciting more violence the road to peace?
