Multiple induced abortions have been linked to infertility problems and pregnancy complications due to the scarring of the uterus, but that doesn't guarantee it is what is causing your problems. It could very well be something else.
The only way to know is to see a specialist in this area (not an OB doctor) and have a thorough pelvic exam (and possibly an ultrasound) and have blood tests done.

While I'm not thrilled with the fact that you've had three abortions, there isn't any reason why having even that many abortions would make you stop ovulating. Abortion procedures can cause scarring; that's how some women end up with fertility problems from multiple D&C's. One easy method I've heard of to kick-start ovulation is as follows: wait until you're three days into your next cycle. Then, buy natural progesterone cream and use every day as directed on the bottle. (Make sure it's 'natural' because the synthetic stuff can wreak havoc on your system.) This will actually prevent you from ovulating, but if you do it for about 2-3 months, and then go off of it for the month you want to conceive, ovulation will definitely happen. Before trying the progesterone method I already mentioned, I would try another cycle au naturelle. Most women will have one irregular cycle a year, so you might have picked an irregular month to try.

I had an abortion due to miscarriage as well. My ex was very abusive/violent at that time and he used to kick me and literally throw me all the time while I was pregnant, I had some spotting and I misscarried. I had one abortion and then I had my my son in 2002 The abortion I had was in March 2000. You may want to get some tests done. I am sorry I do not know if there is a waiting list for you. You will have to phone your doctor or the local hospital to find that out.

Dear Friend, Although removal of a miscarried baby and an abortion are both called a d&c, removal of a miscarried baby is truly not an abortion. An abortion is the killing of a baby who is alive. Sincerely, Runner

"uncomplicated by infection or hemmorhage, it's unlikely to impace future fertility. However, it you have had more than three abortions, your cervix may be weakened (cervical impotence) and you may be less likely to carry a child to term."
So it's probably not a problem, but bring it to your ob/gyn's attention. I wish you the best of luck on your journey to childbirth!

with SAB *spontaneous abortions, not going to a clinic simply to abort a pregnancy* you may have underlying issues and should speak to your OBGYN who can then refer you to a specialist. Especially since you've had more than one and now you've been trying for years without sucess.
I would also have your husband have a sperm count done too, just in case.

hun, i know of a woman who had been TTC since she was 18. she's 22 and now has a beautiful 7 month old son. it can take a woman YEARS to conceive. your abortions, if done with zero complications are not responsible for this. if you're worried, you need to talk to your doctor.

Abortion can cause infertility, but it is very rare. I don't know if your abortions were higher risk since they were due to miscarriages. Miscarriage also can cause scarring and other complications that may make it difficult to get pregnant.
BY THE WAY - ARABMUSLIM HAS POSTED EXTREMELY INCORRECT INFORMATION. HER POST IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE- PURE PROPAGANDA.

yes, you can get testing done to see if your fertile just like anyone having trouble concieving would do. They probably start with blood tests, then go into further testing if need be.

I would be seen by an ob/gyn. Generally, a D&C doesn't cause any problems, but if you had polyps or an undiagnosed uterine infection, there is potentially a blockage. Also, check to see of your guy has good swimmers.
