Dear God:
I know that I'm a sinner. I deserve Hell. But You sent Jesus to die for my sins. I believe that He died and rose again. I ask you now to forgive my sins, once an for all. I now receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Personal Saviour. Please come into my heart and save me, Help me to know I am saved and live for You, the rest of my life. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

I don't know that I am a sinner. I don't know that Jesus or anybody died for my sins. Why would somebody do that? What if I don't have any sins (after all, who is going to judge me?)? If I'm not a sinner then Christ didn't die for me. So how can I view anybody as my savior. Saved from what? And what is this hell that I somehow deserve? Who says that I deserve hell, or that you deserve hell. There's a major disconnect here. On the other hand, I believe I am a divine spirit having a humanexperience and that I am here to learn and to teach. I know I continue to learn.

Yes. I'm a cradle catholic and went to sunday school all through school. But as far as realizing Christ was for me, I guess I was about twelve.
