i have 02 durango that is hard to start in am and after sitting why?

fuel pump was replaced

IF the Computer doesn't see that the engine is cold - it won't put the engine in OPEN loop ! I would check 2 C if the "Coolant Sensor" has the CORRECT Values 2 start with. Then after it warms up it should go into "CLOSED" loop, if all the other sensors are in the ball park.

sounds like a loss os static fuel pressure... maybe a leaking fuel pressure regulator
