I have had an irregular cycle since the birth of my daughter nearly six yrs ago, but after having my youngest, in 2003 my periods have been really bad.
I was bleeding sometimes 3 weeks out the month although not constant.
My dr has tried everything from the pill, jag, coil and hormone tablets, none having any affect.
I have been having unprotected sex since 2003 with my partner and i have never had another pregnancy. I suddenly stopped in july and havent bled since, I thought I could be pregnant but several test has confirmed I'm not.
Any Ideas what could be wrong?
I have an app at hosp on 12 th sept but I am starting to really stress over this.
HELP!

my periods are rather irregular too, and have been worse since the birth of my son, almost 5 years ago.

i have been diagnosed with POS, which stands for polycystic ovarian syndrome.

there are a few well known symptoms for this problem, for example, irregular periods, gaining weight much easier than u should, oily skin / spots, infertility problems, high blood pressure, high cholesterol level....... however, the symptoms vary from person to person, and the only symptoms that every person with POS will suffer from are irregular periods and fertility problems. for me, i suffer from the period problems and sometimes my skin is a bit more oily than it usually is.

i'm not 100% sure that this is what u are suffering from hon, but it's worth investigating.

have a look online - read further about the symptoms. see if any of it starts to sound familiar.

good luck with it all. i hope they find out what's wrong, and that u feel much better soon. x

Uterine fibroids are usually not dangerous, but can cause immense discomfort and lead to complications like anemia from heavy blood loss. In rare cases, they may cause complications that affect pregnancy.

In cases where there are no symptoms, treatment may not be necessary. However, proper diagnosis and treatment may be required if your symptoms are severe or causing complications. Along with conventional treatment, you can try some natural home remedies. Read here https://tr.im/k4wkZ
