I need to upload my files (all from Microsoft Word) to a flashdive. My flashdrive is Memorex. How do I do this? thanks.

Do as the others suggest by plugging the drive into a USB port. However, then open My Computer and locate the drive letter that USB port corresponds to and double click to open it. Then, do any of these to transfer data:

1. Copy and Paste to the open drive window.

2. Select all the files you wish to transfer, right click and select Send To--then select that drive letter.

3. Drag and drop each file you wish to transfer into the drive window.

Once you have all the data in the drive window, use the safely remove hardware option to disconnect the USB drive. There is a link in the window, or you can use the icon down in the notification window. Don't yank out the USB drive without first having the system tell you it is safe because you can damge both the drive and the port.

Insert you FlashDrive in the USB slot of your computer then just copy and paste your files into it or drag it directly, regularly the flashdrive letter will be (D:\) or (E:\).
