No one system of belief (whether its science or religion) can address all our questions.
Being human includes not only the physical (which can be explained to some degree by science) but also the metaphysical (which can be explained to some degree by science and to some degree by theology).

no, because any belief system or science is merely a viewpoint looking at one part of what it means to be human.
For example, biology can look at all the physical aspects of the body, but wont explain anything about our social lives. Sociology might explain some of that, but doesnt really explain about humans spiritual side.
Religion helps us understand the spiritual side, etc etc.
No belief or science has the capacity of taking every aspect of what it means to be human and putting it together.
There is just too much information for any particular discipline.

Science certainly can't. Science is methodologically naturalistic. It is concerned only with that which can be observed and measured.

Science may be able to inform our beliefs about what it means to be human, but it can't by itself provide the answer.

Whether some particular belief system can do so is a matter of opinion and/or faith.

You are asking why anything cannot be everything to everybody. Clearly no system of belief or study can have all the answers ...... unless you start out with the premise that it does. ..... which is what most religions are about. Any system can address all of your questions.... if you are willing to be satisfied with it's answers......
