My employer has agree to fund me for a course of my choice,
I can't find any good management courses, I want a short course which will help in my current role as a purchasing manager..?

I have look into CIPs, but I would much rather do a course to expand my management skill since this is my first management role.

In addition I am being made redundant in March 2008, therefore will like to add as much skill and qualification to my CV.
Anyone got any good suggestions..?

Than k you in advance..(**,)

. Well, first of all, you're improperly using this verb, 'fund' [which has much better connotations as a noun], as an idiom: put up money for. But perhaps that type of stilted speech isn't frowned upon in your line of work.
Anyway, I guess you're talking about a correspondence course here, not a night class at the the local U? I can't imagine it would carry much weight with future employers unless it's very expensive and comprehensive.
YOU know better than us what your future plans are. Go with that.
