My favorite color is blue right now. But when I was younger I loved the bright flashy color yellow.

I have my own theories about my favorite colors and a prediction of what it will one day become. I think when I was younger I loved the color yellow because is described me, wild, crazy, the color of the sun. As I grew up my favorite color became blue. Again blue describes me. A cool, confident, calm color. I have seen a lot and been through just as much. When I am older I think my favorite color will become a red or some variation. Red is the color of love and passion. When I find love and grow old I will probably be very passionate about whatever I decide to do with my life. So I believe again that the color will change with age and experience. I think it will also change with circumstance.

I am in luv with the color blue lately. This is because it is such a deep color on many standards. It is my color for my feelings as lately everything is very blue. I'm not the most happy person on this Earth lately so blue seems to suit almost everything about me. I have blue eyes which intensify with pain and heart ache. These are caused by watching my family go through problems and knowing that there is nothing I can do about it. So blue is the perfect color.

Purple and Violet for a completely different reason than the first answer.
Purple was originally the color of Aristocrats, because the dye for purple was so very expensive. It had become synonymous with nobility. The Royal Fluor de Lis was Purple on Gold.
I have the blood of the old French aristocrats in my veins, and to continue that tradition of discernment, intrigue, and eugenics I carry on the purple banner.
The color purple in many ways symbolizes, for me, the French aristocracy. They were fond of winning territory with marriage, and sanctions rather than through war and bloodshed. Which sort of embodies my belief in an intellectual solution rather than a physical one for all problems. Why lift a gigantic dresser down the stairs when you can use a dolly?

My favorite color is blue, as it relates to weather. Clear blue usually means good weather. If there is a slight greenish cast to the sky, I get nervous because that means tornados are possible. Orange & yellow usually relate to sunrise. Dark blue & purple are sunset colors. But, I really love blue.

Purple is a good color to use in meditation. Purple has been used to symbolize magic and mystery, as well as royalty. Being the combination of red and blue, the warmest and coolest colors, purple is believed to be the ideal color. Most children love the color purple. Purple is the color most favored by artists.

Thursday's color is purple.

Violet is the color of purpose. Violet is associated with the Crown chakra (This links individual and universal).
Violet Energy
Violet is a combination of blue and red. Red is a focusing, dynamic and active energy while blue is cooling, calming and expansive. Violet brings a new dynamic to the expansion of blue and the activity of red. Red brings practicality to the undirected expansiveness of the blue, and allows more creative energy to emerge. For this reason, violet is associated with imagination and inspiration. Violet is an important energy for those who use blue and indigo skills in the psychic field. The red in violet offers a grounding effect.

Put some violet in your life when you want:

* to use your imagination to its fullest
* to re-balance your life
* to remove obstacles
* to calm overactivity or to energize from depression

Love & Blessings

I love warm colours - yellows, oranges. The brighter the better. I'm actually training as a colour consultant, so I know a lot about colour theory, and yellows and oranges fit me well - they're bright, happy colours, and I'm quite happy! They enhance energy and concentration, which is good for when I'm working, and creativity - I'm in a creative industry. So yellows and oranges fit me well.
