Surely you do not mean Iraq or Afghanistan.

I suspect you are thinking more along the lines of Haiti and Kosovo.

Well, the other side of that coin is we sat on our *** during most of WW II And a whole lot of the good guys died because we did. Of course when we finally did join the conflict a lot more died, but they were the bad guys.
Sometimes one has to shoot from the hip. Afghanistan was one. We had to move and try to take the beast by the horns based on intelligence, faulty or not. Iraq should have been handled by an assassination of about ten key people and the threat of hundreds more in their government if reform wasn't affected within a year.

Yes, you should aim for right between the eyes.

Problem is we don't kill enough people. Resistance will only end when the people have suffered so much they demand an end to it. The US and its allies could defeat any nation from the air only. If we had the will they would not move except on foot. They would not see in the dark. Their water would never flow and they would not eat except at our whim. We are too civilaized to nations who threaten us.

yeah it's pretty safe to say that
You go with your gut, however that is technically the brain instinct because it applies whatever previous experience you have on what you're doing to the decision you make.
so its pretty safe to go with your gut unless you have absolutely no clue why you feel the need to go a certain way.
that is just animal instinct, and that could probably lead to trouble

I agree, thats what suprises me the most about this war. As soon as things didn't look pretty for the USA, people started to find excuses for casting their votes for the war. Instead of doing the research themselves and investigating as much as they could before making a mistake that would be with them forever. Really, unprofessional of any politician but thats normal anymore. Do whatever you want until it causes your popularity, then, find out who to blame.
I find it disheartening and embarrassing all the thumbs down purely for not bashing Democrats openly, the fact of the matter is, if you understand what I said you would see I am being critical of anybody who wanted to vote for the war, then later deny they voted for it or anything at all like that. Facts are facts regardless of having to paint a picture, which, I thought I did. Anyway, people need to read and understand facts and connect the dots themselves without having to have things explained to them, I think it's a problem when people can't come to a conclusion based on information they have, instead, have to have someone give them an opinion.

My answer, not applicable. It is safe to say that you are consumed with your political agenda. Do you ever take a break? Go forth and live your life. There is life outside the internet.

Research as in:
How soon they forget! "We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." - Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

How soon they forget! "The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..." - Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002

How soon they forget! "I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force-- if necessary-- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." - Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9,2002

How soon they forget! "There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction."- Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002

How soon they forget! "He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do" - Rep. Henry Waxman (D, CA), Oct. 10, 2002

How soon they forget! "In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members.. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons." - Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

How soon they forget! "We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction." - Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), Dec. 8, 2002

And therefore? Everybody knows you hate George Bush and the war, Chi-Guy--if you think this constant badgering of the issue is going to suddenly convert us all to liberalism, think again.

Edit--Nice, Southron...
