When she gets angry she hit me and her daddy and if she falls down she hits the floor or the table. This is new to her and I have no idea where she picked it from or how to stop it, any suggestions?

Yes some kids her age act out that way. When she hits you just grab her hands and firmly say "No!" and let her know hitting is wrong.

yeah but you have to teach the baby to behave by spanking their hand everytime they hit someone. so when they are about to hit someone they know that something is going to happen if they hit someone, so the next time the baby hits someone, just hits them on their hand, then they will learn that hitting is not nice.

Yea it's normal....especially if she sees hitting somewhere, like on t.v.....or possibly other children are doing it.....

my son does it and has been doing it for a while (21 months)

when she hits you cant hit back though! that just teaches her that its ok to hit........

yeah its normal, my 12 month old is doing the same thing. i think they feel that is the only way to express their frustration, since not talking that well yet

I don't think it's normal. You should try to put a stop to her tantrum. Use a firm tone with her.

yes, tell her it is BAD to hit people and put her in her crib for 30 minutes. each time she repeats this behavior, crib time, she will catch on sooner or later

Yes...and they also bite! Just be calm and make sure you let her know it's not a good thing.
