I don't know. I would like to know. One day after eating Vegemite, I kept getting the smell. Maybe there is a psychological factor in my case? LOL

John O : survived, but not unscathed. LOL

Because something as traumatic as a Vegemite experience lingers with its victims for days. It's such a unique smell and taste. It's practically all the things that could go wrong with a flavor explosion. Unfortunately, those types of things are seared into our memories never to be forgotten.

I don't know what you mean by "feeling the smell".
You smell odors, you don't feel them.

Several answers: small particles with low vapor pressure odor-causing chemicals persist in air.

Particles can adsorb on surfaces and continue to emit odor for a long time.

Some odors can be detected at very low vapor pressure levels, so the "smell" lives on.

Wishful smelling? I love garlic, but when I go a little overboard, I can not only taste it for a few days, but I feel that it seeps from my pores. Others swear they can not smell the odor on me, but I think they are trying to be nice, or they are lieing.

It has a compelling smell for a reason. Thus, it will stay with you until it dissipates. This may be alleviated with body fresheners, mints, etc. Peace and God Bless.

Grease particles hang in the air.

In the particular case of Vegemite, it is that our mind wishes to recapture the wonderful sensation and pleasure of the very eating.

It is the only answer that makes sense. ;)

Because that's the food we like best or maybe because somebody changed their avatar.
