He sure is. Bush's tax cuts have spurred on the economy after 9/11. His supreme court appointments have been brilliant. Bush has used his foreign policy skills to expose false Friends and find new ones, and of all the people in our government he gets the fact that we are at war with islam.By extension sense what is good for America is good for the world, he gets high marks as a positive force around the globe

so far you have twenty two answers and maybe four complete ones. I'll give you a truthful complete answer;
President Bush is one of the very few people among us who has friends, business and life experience in the Middle East; he understands this situation and knows what must be done. No disrespect intended, but all of our politicians put together would not have the life EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE of the Middle East that our commander in chief GB has acquired.

The question is a little too generalized.
He has done some very unpopular things and some okay things of which long term effects will be felt everywhere. There is a general answer LOL
Generally speaking, I would say no even thought I consider myself more conservative than many and may raise the hackles on my peers.

Who is right to lead anyone? why have we become so dependant on one voice, are we not capable of choosing right from wrong for our own countries between each other instead of a goverment who hides things from us and never shows us the whole picture.
And for Mr Bush, to awnser every threat with war is not wise, but its not bush its every leader, what man takes onto his shoulders the world, who posses the wisdom to control a nation, who decides freedom of speech when freedom of speech its self backfires on the inventor, were are in to deep, every leader should forget power, talk about destroying all weapons and talking about how we unite, not under technology but under wonder of our planet

He is quite obviously good for America, just look at the problems he has had to confront during his Presidency! And since 9-11, we have been safe, and our economy is solid.
And...what is is good for America is usually good for the wider world.

For a complete answer, you need a person with a complete brain pattern. He is locked in on the "War on Terror" and "the axis of evil." I would like to hear from one president of these United States, that we don't need to be "the policemen of the world." Then I will be comforted. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace and God Bless.

George Bush is to the earth what The Hindenburg was for lighter-than-air travel, and what the Titanic was to shipping, and what Hiroshima was for destruction.

America, yes. the other world, it doesn't matter what they think. note for a minute that they are not allowed to vote overseas for the president, there is a reason for it. the president is voted in by US citizens. that alone, is quite enough to handle without worryin about what the rest of the world thinks. he appoints a secretary of state to handle those affairs.
