I think P&S turned into something they hadn't intended, and now they're being arbitrary and heavy-handed trying to reel it back in.

I agree with some of the other answers posted. Yahoo, I think that P&S is the most popular category, and in my opinion the best, it is the only one that I come too. If it is the most popular, then it has to be making money, but I do agree with the answer stating that P & S has turned into something that Yahoo never intended. They may think that we are trouble makers but in fact we are the kindest. It is the trolls whom make us look like trouble makers when in fact it is them.
I LOVE P & S! How could they think of us as the red headed step children.

No, because there is no way that Polls and Surveys could be hurting the bottom line, as it draws more people to the site than does any other category.

I do not think we have hurt their bottom line but I think we have helped it in some ways. Personally I think it is people who do not like us , such as the trolls or gutterrats or snitches that are jealous that are hurting the bottom line and because we have a popular section they deflect the blame on us.

I think William is pretty correct ... Yahoo never envisaged P&S taking off the way it has.
Actually I believe the only reason we're still here is because we make them money. They ARE ashamed of us, but they can't get rid of us because we're so successful.

no polls and survey are where the real people are who really dont want to get banned for asking real question and really dont have time to do deal some jerks over in the religion section and young girls who have no reason to be dating and having sex in the singles and dating section. i come to polls and answers when i want to take a break from answering all the stupid "what do i do know" questions on singles and dating.

I don't want to ignore you, but I think Yahoo just has no idea of how to solve all the problems without spending more money than they already have.

they like us and they don't like us!
they like us cause it's the most popular category with the most people!
they don't like us,cause we don't follow the rules and there are many offensive questions and avatars,and of course the trolls!
so P&S has taken over and they want it back,they want us to follow their rules!
