her cage has some web across the bottom and im going to clean it but is it normal for the rose hair to go a couple months without eating we have had her for about a year and she molted a few months back and after she ate two or three times and now nothing

* Yes it's fine rosehairs will go without food for a year like the other person said.
Some of ours have gone months with no food. It sounds like it's going to molt. Make sure you have a water dish in there for it, if you see it on it's back leave it alone it will molt soon.

Tarantaula's can go 1 year without water and 2 years without food. They will only eat when they are hungry, and will only eat live food. They will not eat when they shed their skin either. Hope this will help you. I had a mexican red hair for a couple years.

Mine's gone up to 2 weeks-when I asked I think they told me it's "shredding", (call the petstore to make sure if you have to).
