Absolutely. Your body is secreting a hormone that's allowing your ligaments to relax so that you will have more internal flexibility to allow the baby to pass through your pelvis. Your ligaments are stretching, which is exactly what would happen if you did the splits. It's not only normal, it's good.

Hi,i think the answer above mine is so wrong,im 36 weeks pregnant and i have the same amount discomfort and i haven't gained NO extra weight on me apart from the baby,the lady above is only 28 weeks, she will get abit sore too as she gets further along her pregnancy,i was ok when i was 28 weeks but as you go along the more aches and pains you get,don't worry its normal hunny!

I am 39 weeks and have the same. Its just everything getting ready for labor. Hips spreading some, baby dropping ect. It doesnt get any better here on out from where you are, but it will be over soon! Congrats!

No problem! while i become pregnant, I placed my hard artwork questions interior the infant & infant section. i does not say it is an illustration of coming near near hard artwork, fairly. It looks like the woes of late being pregnant from carrying around a nicely-grown infant. they say the norm for hard artwork to ensue for first time mothers is 39 or 40 weeks.
