It depends what you mean by rare. If you're talking about plants threatened with extinction, there are plenty of Sarracenia (North American Pitcher plants) that fit the bill.

I'm guessing you're looking for plants that aren't your run of the mill flytrap, but something more unusual. Here are a couple ideas--if you want to buy these you should be able to track down plants if you look hard enough, but they may not be cheap and they may be difficult to grow.

Heliamphora (South American pitcher plant).
Byblis (a large sundew-like plant from Australia)
Cephalotus (a small pitcher plant from Australia)
(+others in ICPS FAQ mentioned below.)

There are also a lot of really cool Nepenthes--my favorite genus.

The International Carnivorous Plant Society webpage is one place to start. There's a lot of info on their FAQ page, including a list of all the different carnivorous genera with descriptions (more photos elsewhere on the site). A lot of the FAQ is pretty basic, so don't let that bother you.

I think this should get you started. It doesn't look like their links section is terribly informative. I'll see if I can track something down.

Edit: Forgot to mention. A must read--Peter D'Amato's "The Savage Garden".

Edit 2: If by rare you mean endangered, see my answer to your other question. It lists species covered under CITES Appendix I and II.

I love plants!I have a venus fly trap and am planning to get more meat eating plants. These are the good things about a venus fly trap.1 They can live underwater so you can not drown them.2 They may get rid or your bad flies if you have any.3 They are the most fun plants in the world! Maybe I can give you a venus fly trap seed if mine does soon. And if you get one maybe they can mate.bye! It was a pleasure answering your question. If you like it please give me the best answer rating, and I will give you a star.
And for a rare plant get a sundrew they are also very neat.
