Hello, How can you be so bloody minded politicians work hard for the country, spend countless hours in Parliament for less money and are always out of pocket when claiming for expenses. As for John Prescott he work his way up from a ships steward to a union official then on to Deputy Prime Minister doing a great service for the Government. The reason he had two jags is that one for running him from place to place while the other was being filled up with petrol. As for John (my pal) when he was shagging his helper it was on orders from Tony (my pal) to get accustom to be like an Arab with two wives.(we call John two shags lucky devil) so he reluctantly obeyed Tony(our pal)with the blessing of the cabinet.I being a member of Parliament who promised allegiance to the Queen and Country asks this would i lie to you?

Most politicians are liars, cheats, and theives. A handful seem to maintain some level of integrity: Ralph Nader, Dennis Kocinich, and Al Franken.

Yes!
Years ago lazy people headed for the church.
Now they become politicians!
They don't have to think, they just follow the party line.
They disregard the people that voted them in!
They just hang on, waiting for the day they enter the House of Lords or get a nice job in Brussels.

If they're not when they start out, they soon become liars, cheats and thieves. Thats what governments do to people. All over the world, there are corrupt governments. I wouldn't trust any of them!

The ones i have read about are not honest politicians. Blair and Bush were definatly not honest, they made us fight a illegal war against Iraq. Funny, they havnt been tried in a court like we would if we responsibly killed an innocent man.

No the donors are and they make the calls. The politicians are puppets to the money folks. If they were for the average citizens then why haven't we seen them?
Their pilots are instructed follow the money.

The president and many members of the Crimson Tide meet this criteria, but with the addition of HYPOCRISY. This will be their death cry, and what they are most remembered for. The tide will soon be turned back, and you will see Blue Skies on the horizon.

Don't think so.
Were like you and me too.
With lost sense of direction and purpose of life.
At loss and stranded out there.
With time getting kick on the butts.
Will be wide awake with the mess out there.

I'm not as cynical as you. There are plenty of easier ways of making money than going into politics.
Your comment, "who knows" suggests that you are talking from ignorance and suspicion.
As for one of the countries top politicians owning two cars! Well, I've got two cars, but I hope you're not suggesting that I've lied, cheated or stolen to get them.
