cross multiply
so
-x^2 + 27 = x^2 - 7x +12
2x^2 -7x - 15=0
(2x+3)(x-5)=0
x=(-3/2) and x=5

Cross multiply getting:
-1(x^2-27) = (x-3)(x-4)
-x^2+27 = x^2 -7x+12
2x^2-7x -15 = 0
(2x+3)(x-5)=0
x= -3/2 and x - 5

Multiply by (x - 3)(x^2 - 27):
- x^2 + 27 = (x - 4)(x - 3)
= x^2 - 7x + 12
2x^2 - 7x - 15 = 0
(2x + 3)(x - 5) = 0
x = - 3/2 or x = 5.

-1/(x - 3) = (x - 4)/(x^2 - 27)

Multiply both sides by the LCD (x - 3)(x^2 - 27)

-1(x^2 - 27) = (x - 4)(x - 3)

-x^2 + 27 = x^2 - 7x + 12

-2x^2 + 7x + 15 = 0

2x^2 - 7x - 15 = 0

(x - 5)(2x + 3) = 0

x = 5, x = -3/2
