Okay.. so 2 weeks ago, i bought a 4-in-one printer, a faxer, scanner, printer, photocopier. When i came home, i just worried about printing out my project and making my friend a copy of a diagram, but then 1 week later.. i notice that the scanner doesn't work for my computer... like when i start to scan it freezes, so i called the HP customer service people, and i was on the phone with them for about 7 hours trying to fix the darn thing. So.. now it's 2 weeks and i think it's not worth it if i buy something that doesn't really work.. like the faxer, i dont really need it, and the scanner.. it doesnt work, i barely photocopy.. i just print. So i was thinking to return it.. but i printed a bunch for my project.. i was wonderin if when i return it to Costco.. would they make me pay for the ink?

you already bought the ink. it came with it. if not, you bought external ink and put it inside. they may charge a return charge

Don't think so, the problem is how many days of warranty COSTCO store gave you? if it's 30 days, you can go to the store and ask for a new one, of course after you explain to them that the scanner and stuff didn't work at all. Don't worry about the ink tho.

Lots of luck on that one.
You can...1. Buy a printer that uses the same cartridge.
2. Turn the cartridge into Staples and get $ 3 off on a reconditioned-filled cartridge.
YOU SHOULD read the warranty on the item. Since it is only two weeks old, you should be able to send the whole kit-and-kaboodle back to the company who will send you another.
