Wow nice insight. ull get weird answers but man thats tight i like physicis n astronomy and I havent thought about that. It might be true, i'll put in my list and investigate more after im done with my major lol.
but take into account that we are already being absorbed by a blackhole in the center of this galaxy its just takes a lot of time, i mean a lot to affect us why? b/c the distance is so big. who did set up that distance :S? chance or..... ?

1.) What makes you think God is a "he?"
2.) Have you ever spent any time at all looking through a telescope at the various stars and galaxies? Probably not...
3.) In your mind, do you conceive of Black Holes as goblins that roam the universe gobling up unsuspecting space objects? It seems that you do. Otherwise how would a black hole swallow up the Earth?
4.) Wouldn't you be happier asking questions like this in a zone on Yahoo which catered to people who had similar beliefs to your own? Or, is it your mission in life to interrupt the lives of other people with your controversy?

No, it's because there are no black holes anywhere nearby the Earth (most of them are in the center of galaxies, 25,000 light years away) and because black holes don't hunt stuff to draw into their gravitational field. They aren't coming after us. There are none even remotely nearby.
What do you mean, Earth begin swallowed up by a galaxy? We're already inside a galaxy. Sure, it's on a collision course with another galaxy, but that's probably a billion years from now and you wouldn't notice anyway.
It's a big leap to make from 'I didn't understand this program I saw' to 'that must mean god's doing it'. You could have just asked us to explain.

But there aren't any black holes near the earth. They are mainly located in the centres of galaxies, and the earth is nowhere near the centre of our galaxy. And by the way, this galaxy is in fact on a collision course with the nearest galaxy, Andromeda.

I'm so glad to know that the earth is safe!
Or maybe the other lifeforms on some other distance planet got in big trouble and had to be smashed. Just a thought.

ok, so basically explain why the earth is a few million years away from colliding with the andromeda galaxy. is god just ticked at you because you would blindly believe something so idiotic? no hes not, because hes not real. your idiocy and ignorance isdefinately real. give me one bit of proof that god exists besides the rambling of people about accounts that no one has witnessed but them.

Maybe its just pure luck so far.
The Milky Way has absorbed into itself dozens of small galaxies in its lifetime, maybe our solar system was in one of those small ones that was absorbed.
When galaxies absorb others, very few stars are destroyed, they are just incorporated into the growing galaxy's mass as another star.

The hand of God is everywhere in nature if you know how and where to look for it. If we are alone in the universe then God must have a sense of humor. The universe would have to be the intimate case of overkill.

Probably true....your view is similar to other famous scientists...
example:
"... It would be perfectly consistent with all we know to say that there was a Being who was responsible for the laws of physics". Stephen Hawking....American Scientist, 73, (1985).
