anyone know of any online??
i want to find deep sky stuff this coming morning at 4:30 am

amazing winter sky is up at 5 am!!!

I never use online charts. I either use a good star atlas (my favourite is the Sky & Telescope Pocket Sky Atlas) or Starry Night software. Look for M35 and the Eskimo or Clown Nebula in Gemini.

If it has to be on line I suppose you could try Google Sky if that's what you want, but you are better off with a decent sky map you can have with you out side.

Nothing as large as the Sky Atlas, which is great for me at the telescope, but a pocket version as the learned gentleman said earlier, Sky & Telescope do a good one.

And take a red flashlight with you as well because it takes 20 mins for your eyes to become dark adapted, otherwise you won't see much deep sky stuff.
