Not all laptops have a PC card but yours might. Try looking on the right side towards the back of the laptop. There should be 2 slots. If you've never used them, there may be 2 pieces of plastic in them that you'll need to remove.

Not all laptops have card slots (normally referred to as PCMCIA slots). Older laptops often did not. Some of the very small laptops do not and Apple's latest MacBook laptops do not. Now there is a new half-sized card slot that is becoming popular and probably will replace PCMCIA before long.

that's no longer a PCMCIA slot. The slot accepts a greater moderen universal mentioned as ExpressCard. the only interior the Dell Inspiron B130 is in specific an ExpressCard/fifty 4 slot. there's a extensive distinction between the two. PCMCIA is predicated on the older PCI universal. ExpressCards are according to PCI convey or USB 2.0

Hi. I think the "PP01X" is a type of Dell Latitude and should support PCMCIA (now called PC slot). But check this link first.http://search.dell.com/results.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&cat=sup&k=latitude+pp01x&qmp=12&p=1&subcat=ddc&rf=all&nk=f&sort=K&snpsd=A&ira=False&~srd=False&ipsys=False&advsrch=False&~ck=anav

It probably does, look on the sides for a slot covered by by hinged doors. There will also be a little pin next to it that when pushed in will pop out (it's the eject button).
There's a picture here - http://www.pcmcia.org/pccard.htm
and here - http://binaervarianz.de/projekte/sonstiges/targa/bilder/pcmcia_slots.jpg
