I lost another one today because of pervs. Red Robin left because she was being harassed. I'm really sad because she was a good friend, had a wonderful sense of humor and was a caring and loving young woman. Why can't people be respectful of others? Don't you all see that good users are leaving Y!A all the time? If it goes on like this, all those left will be trolls and haters. Scary thought don't you think?

In this day and age, our online friends have really become the ones we can pour our hearts out to.
They are the ones who love us unconfditonally, they don't judge us based on wat we wear, or where we live. Our friendships are formed not from social ladders or similar brands, but from an understanding of personality.
They are the ones who we log online just to see if they are there. They're the ones who make us lol at the end of a long hard day in the "real world". They are the ones who share our interests and hear our pain. They're the ones who give us an empathetic :( when we tell them our BFs dumped us.
They are a part of our extended selves.
So when we lose them because of some other person's ignorance or perversion, it hurts. We feel like we've lost our life-lines...and sometimes we don't even get to say goodbye.

Sad. Sad, and ANGRY!
I see that the good people are leaving. I agree that it's scary.
I hate that so many wonderful people here have been hurt. They were the reason I've stayed with Y!A.... I started out on Politics (I know; but who knew...?) My very first contact (asmikeocsit) told me to come to P&S and stay. He was right! I love it here, (or I did...) Everyone is nice. Everyone is kind, and smart, and funny! And now...everyone is suspicious, and wary.
They have reason; it's just such a shame that they have reason!
I'm sorry about Red Robin...I didn't really know her, I just saw her around, funny answers; always kind. I'm sorry she left. Another person I'll never get to know. It seems like I'm missing as many people as are still here... some of us are still here, sort of...but we've changed so much. Damn.

When I first started here, everybody here kept telling me it was just a game and not to take it so seriously. Sorry, I didn't listen and have made some great friends and feel really sad when one is gone.
Trolls and haters have weak spots too, and that is why I haven't stayed away for good. I am not going to give them the satisfaction and I won't give up on how to win the fight, either.

Haven't lost any on Y!A but I did on myspace...it was kindof a bummer, but I'm over it. My real friends on there know me and are a phonecall away. If people on Y!A are fairly respectful and honest and have half or more of a brain, they won't be lost. If not, then they shouldn't be here anyway. It's the internet. Don't let it replace the real people in your life.

It is a very scary thought and I really hope that it never comes to that. It makes me really sad when they leave but thankfully most have stayed on the 360 at least....love ya Niff.

My online friends mean a lot to me. I can find so many like-minded people more easily online, and many of them are always willing to listen to me. It's a real shame to lose contact, but it happens.
If you really care that much, constantly message them so you won't lose contact. Of course, in the case you described that might not help so much. Maybe your friend will return.

It's sad but at the same time I understand as this place is getting worse and worse. If anything it makes me angry that I am losing firends simply because Yahoo doesn't do anything about much of anything at all.

it's like they took of your heart with them!!we become so used to our friends here,that we feel real bad when we lose them!!if yahoo keeps suspending all the good people and those who harass are left to do their evil ways,then this site will be nothing!!
