Meat eating has been something that's been done for centuries and even with all of the advances in society today veg*ns make up a VERY small percantage of the world. Most everyone is raised on eating meat, there's only a select few who actually question it.

Also I think something being "moral" or "immoral" is all perspective. Everyone has different opinions about what's moral and not.

There are animals in this world that are omnivores that need both plant and animal products. Humans are one of those animals. My body, and yours, was designed to need complete protein which is very difficult to achieve without animal products.

Are tigers immoral for hunting? No, that is ridiculous.

If you have a problem with not eating meat - don't eat meat.

What you might seem to have a problem with is the mass production of meat for human consumption - the possible immoral treatment of animals - take your fight there, not to meat-eaters.

animals were not put on this earth for nothing, animals survive by eating each other, we humans survive by eating alot of things but we also need food, like the previous post said we need some of the nutrients. this battle between a Meat eater and a Vegetarian is just really really really annoying, i respect Vegetarians becuase...well i dont eat meat much only becuase it has a certain % of being poisnous, but its still good, and i respect Meat eaters becuase they are just humans just like vegetarians, i mean your question is just like saying, people who eat rice are immoral, becuase arent will killing the plants for that?

Humans are omnivores. Nature designed us to eat a mix of meat and plant life. It isn't immoral. The only morality involved is in what you were raised to believe.

Get off your moral high horse. If other people eat meat , that's none of your business. If animals weren't killed for food they would literally be running in the streets. Why are most vegetarians so sure of their lofty perch on the moral high ground ? If you don't want to eat meat ,don't eat it , but leave everyone alone. And if you want to report me because I've pissed you off, go right ahead. I'll be looking forward to it.

I agree with you, and I would like to become a veggie one day, and at one stage, for a long time only ate fish, but now some days I just crave curry goat and rice, roast chicken, or lamb patties. In my heart, I wish I never ate meat, but it's hard when you are used to something and feel the need for it.

Because meat is good for you. It gives you a lot of nutrients that you can't get out of just vegetables. We've been eating animals since the beginning of time, and animals have been eating people as well. I grew up on a farm, and love animals, but I do not have a problem with eating meat. It's just part of life. It's your decision if you don't want to eat meat, but don't criticize other for eating meat. It's not like they sell dog or cat meat on the market.

You know that you say it is immoral, but not all people agree with this. Your experience gets you to see it differently from them. Believe me, the other side was raised with a different way of looking at things and don't feel that they are doing anything wrong.
