im calling my baby owen, i need a nice middle name that goes well with it, i like blake, parker or mason but i dont know which one sounds nicer, please help me decide or any other suggestions would be nice.

my surname is holmes so that makes it difficult and annoying lol as people say call him sherlock, please dont suggest sherlock anyone lol as ive heard it so many times

I am SO exicted for you! First of all, congrats on the baby. Secondly, OWEN is my all time favorite name for a boy. My husband and I are trying to conceive. We will name our son Owen Patrick or Owen Parker...we haven't decided which.

I like the name Owen. That's my cousins name =]
Owen Blake - I like Blake, but it doesn't flow very well.
I don't care for the names Parker or Mason.
Consider these ideas:

Owen John
Owen Peter
Owen Charlie
Owen Quint
Owen Christopher
Owen Jeremiah
Owen Mitchell
Owen Thomas
Owen Frederick
Owen Daniel
Owen James
My favorites are: Owen Mitchell, Owen Jeremiah, and Owen James.
I would consider a longer name for the middle name, as Owen is a short name. Just a suggestion.

I love Owen. I think Owen Parker is nice. I hate Blake and Owen and Mason sound and look too similar to use together. So, Owen Parker gets my vote. If you have another, Mason Blake would make a great sibling name to Owen Parker!

I think Owen Parker Holmes. Owen Blake Holmes coming in second. I don't like how Owen and Mason both end in an "EN" sound. It just doesn't flow as well as the rest of the names. My advice to you: Wait until you see his face before you settle on your final decision. Let the name fit him naturally rather than growing into it down the road. I think Michael sounds good as well, but I really like the choices you've come up with already. Everytime I consider new names, I always revert back to my original favorites. Go with your gut, good luck, and congratulations!
