Im buying an out of state property and I need to show proof that Im a legal US resident how do I go about doing so?

show your passport and driver's license

heck show your birth certificate too...

Just show your social security card. It will state on there if there are any restrictions associated with it.

You should also have received papers when you became a naturalized citizen, and your passport should show this as well.

All of these forms of documentation should be acceptable to the bank.

Your driver's license will show proof of identity; your social security card and birth cert. will show proof of citizenship. A passport will show both.

If your are a naturalized citizen, you will need your green card, work papers, etc.

The bank or requesting party should have given you a list of acceptable documents, if they have not you can request that they do so.

Copy of a birth certificate, passport or naturalization papers, or if you aren't a citizen but are a legal resident, your green card.

We need more info. Were you born here? Every time that you apply for a job, you are supposed to produce documentation to support your claim that you can legally work in the U.S. How do you handle that question?
