Why can't they just be real and to the point? Why do they pretend to be your frined when they really don't like you or they really don't want anything to do with you?

Because if you know what they truly are you would probably would not want them to be a friend or contact. People are also afraid you might not like them so they embellish or lie to get on the good side and in an odd way they believe themselves after awhile and not know the truth.

Some people are just like that. I guess it easier to live in a fantasy world than to accept their life. Or maybe they are so unhappy with themselves that they pretend to be someone else.
My mother-in-law is like that and it drives me crazy. I am who I am all the time. There is no pretending. What you see is what you get.

Sometimes its not really because they are so fake, Its because they are afraid. No one taught them to be real, or showed them how to nicely untangle from where they do not want to be. So they keep on keeping on, just scraping by, not really knowing how to treat people. They are kind of pitiful.

I don't honestly know. Maybe some don't know how to be that way. Maybe some don't want to hurt a persons feelings.
Only the ones who are like that can honestly answer that for themselves.

Some people are just not happy with who they really are, or are afraid that they won't be accepted, so, they put up a front. Very insecure people roaming around :)

i know what you mean!!i just stop being friends with them!they are not worth my time!i am a real honest person and when i like sby as a friend,they know it!!no fakeness with me!!
