Many reasons that make us sad .
I laughed Jason, I try to laugh.
Maybe it will be easier for you because you are alone. But I was told to just laugh when I'am sad so I did.
I am not "A sad" person , but I did feel sad many times before. Mainly when I felt stucked.
With laughing I released the tense, so I do "laughing" a lot as my exercise.
I believe, sadness comes from my mind.
Rapid breathing exercise also help to "clean" my mind. I did that too.
What I did, sit on the floor( I prefer carpetted floor) with my legs crossed (nothing to do w/ yoga just feel comfy that way), my hand loose . Then start rapid breathing, I did it for about 3 to 5 minutes. I feel a bit dizzy if I did it 5 minutes, so usually I stopped after 3 minutes.
Rapid breathing and laughing helped me a lot, does not mean that problem not occur or "run away" but my sadness gone and I can think better in solving or putting up w condition and situation I dont like.
My husband used to run every morning at the same time for 1 hour . I never saw him sad.
He also had hobby which was reading and planting orchids.

I know how you feel. Sometimes, I get stuck in sadness too.
I think that sadness can be a habit. The more we're sad, the more it becomes natural to feel that way. Someone once told me that happiness is a choice. That in order to feel that way, we have to act happy first, even if it doesn't feel natural.
If you feel like you're always alone, do your best to be around other people. Find people with similar interests whatever they may be. Or you could volunteer to help c hildren with their homework or keep people company in a hospital or senior center.
There are so many ways to get your mind off of feeling sad. Just TAKE ACTION. Don't allow yourself to dwell in the sad thoughts and feel sorry for yourself. This just makes things much worse and spiral out of control.
Think about all of the things you can feel grateful for right now, no matter how small. You can see. You can feel the sun on your skin. You can enjoy the taste of food, ANYTHING.
May you be happy~

im not a sad person...but sometimes i am sad. especially this past few months upto now not because im always alone...i cant consider that because there a lot of people who loves and cares for me...even they dont tell me, i know it! Sad because this is not the life i wanted...sad because of too much problems goin on right now, sad because i dont know what to do to with my problems....it seems so easy to solve but there is one small hindrance that is blocking all my plans!
lets say you want to make a cake, but you dont have a sugar...but you have everything else ready! theres the sugar, but someone is blocking it and want something in return...
but soon..im just waitin for my time and i know i will succeed...after all heart aches and pain...i know i will be happy again in my life...
why are you sad? why you feel alone?

Honestly I don't think people are naturally sad. I used to be sad all the time and now I'm not. You just need a breakthrough in your personal or work life to remind you that you're a great person.

I am not a sad person although sometimes I have sad moments and thoughts. If you feel sad too, that doesn't mean you're a sad person, maybe you are in depression, but if you feel sad don't worry much about it and accept that you're sad and try to change your thoughts with something nice.
Good luck and relax about it***

Well, don't just sit there, the only one at your pity party! Go find some people and do something. Do something that takes energy and thought and get out of your head. Go get a job or a hobby. Find your passion, man!

I'm sad a lot, too, but I'd like to be happy. Here's a hug. I'm also alone almost all the time.

I have depression from since I was around 12 or something...
If I'm around others... I don't seem sad... but when I'm alone... I'm extra sad!
