Atheist; It's not about dividing, it's about finding who sells the most propaganda and who is more effective. No one's trying to divide anyone.

I would think it's the Republicans that 'sells' the most propaganda simply because it has more opportunity to do so. Republicans have become masters at the 'spin' game; 'dirty tricks'; and Hitleresque propaganda. They are much more effective at it because they utilize the conservative-biased media to spread their lies, half-truths, distortions, misrepresentations and non-facts.
* Ann Coulter is a right-wing propagandist that uses any evil, underhanded, corruptive means at her disposal to infect the airwaves and brainwash her viewers;
* Rush Limbaugh, of course, is the 'grand daddy' of the Republican propaganda machine, having perfected it to an art form over the years. It's only a matter of time until Limbaugh persuades his 'ditto heads' that it's acceptable to injure - or even kill - liberals, or any others who disagree with his conservative agenda (just as Hitler propagandists persuaded otherwise intelligent Germans that it was acceptable to gas 6 million Jews).
* Republican 'dirty tricks' have included spreading gossip about Ed Muskie's 'mental health' which caused Muskie to drop out of the race; negotiating an 'arms-for-hostage' deal that allowed Ronald Reagan to announced - during his inauguration - that 444 American hostages had been freed from Iran (which turned out to be the scandalous IranContra affair we all learned about years later); and a third-rate burglary attempt to infiltrate Democratic party headquarters (which eventually brought down a GOP President in disgrace).
I think it's clear that the Republicans are much more effective, efficient, and ruthless when it comes to selling propaganda, lying, deception, and political malfeasance.
Since I don't listen much to Democratic propaganda, my opinion might not be as balanced as some others. -RKO- 09/03/07

Both sell and both sides are effective.

For the Conservatives ...Ya what -RKO- said!

For the Liberals they have the rest of the media, TV shows like Boston Legal, Talk shows with liberal hosts like Rosie, also Micheal Moore and the both have tons of BLOGS.

As to who is most effective I think that is a tie too.

Were'nt the last two presidential races nearly a 50 / 50 split in the popular vote?

Considering that Bush is a two-term President, the Republican party has been more effective in selling their propaganda.

given that we went to war with Iraq and are still in Iraq, and the fact that GWB was reelected in 2004, I would say that Republicans sell the most propaganda. Also, given the above, I would say that they are more effective at it. There are still people today that believe that Iraq had something to do with 9-11.

If you don't think so, explain michael moore. He has been proven to use lies, halftruths, and video editing in most of his work, yet he is still respected by pathetic liberals, who can't think for themselves, and attempt to use his lies as validation for their propaganda.

Look at where the llbs get their "news". They get it from comedians, such as jon stewart and bill mahar, while also relying on michael moore style documentaries.
