people on yahoo answers always pick best answer to the person who siad what they wanted to hear and they just kissed up? for example this girl asked if she was pretty and everyone thought she was ugly but this other girl lied and said she was beautiful...and she got best answer. isnt that messed up? if u do that pls star this question. and if ull try not 2 do it more star it again! thanx

It's that person's question and they get first chance to choose whatever answer they want. This isn't school where only one right answer is possible. It's a subjective place/situation..not objective. Now..why would I star your question...do you think I care that much about best answer?..uh...no...not really. I participate to gain knowledge/see other opinions and most of all to get a few laughs. I do not take it seriously..a best answer is not going to make me a better person.

I agree with you but sometimes the best answer is not the person who has the answer they are looking for but also the most well-detailed and well thought out answer that is what they are looking for in the answer!!! That is what i try to do when giving best answer! I look for people who answer my question with an informing or unique answer as well as explaining their answer!!
