How old were you? Did your team win or lose? What do you remember most about it? (inspired by getalife, who's sick of the bickering here...:))

I was about 8 years old, saw the Red Sox lose to the California Angels. What I remember most is eating lots of ice cream bars, and oh, Yaz homered, so I didn't care that much that the Sox lost.

I was 10 years old. It was Tuesday, May 31st, 1977. Red Sox were playing the Yankees at Fenway Park. Great night for baseball! Red Sox won 5-1. Jim Rice and Butch Hobson hit homers. Reggie Cleveland got the complete game win. We sat in the Grandstand, Section 15 or 16. I loved every second of it!

I was hooked as a Red Sox fan! Been to over 300 games since.

What really helps me remember that night was the fact the house I grew up in had a fire that day. But that didn't stop my Dad from bringing 4 of us to the game. My Mom setup a place to stay that night and Dad took the rest of us (who were at home) to the game. Talk about a memory! Luckily no one was hurt.

Hah. Thanks. And don't worry about that getalife part..that actually made me laugh.

Taking a stab at it I would say about 6 or 7. I went to a Rangers game and they won. My dad took me and some of my older bros friends to the (then) Ball Park In Arlington. We sat in the restruant and watched the game.

Not the most memorable though. When A-Rod played here I had seats on the the 3rd base dugout.. maybe 5 rows back? It was great. I had a nice view of the game. =)

I can't remember what was my first MLB game that I had attended. I think my first MLB game that I attended was the Cubs and White Sox in Chicago's South Pole. I have seen Sammy Sosa's home run to the left field. White Sox won the game in extra inning over Cubs while White Sox won the RBI. That happens in 2000 that White Sox won the division title before losing to Seattle Mariners in playoff.

I was around 11 years that my first game in Chicago. Not as big diehard of White Sox.

I was 6 years old. My grandfather took me to the Polo Grounds to see the NY Giants play the Brooklyn Dodgers.
I remember the Dodgers won, and the Giants went to the World Series that year (1954).

At the end of the game, the fans walked on the field and exited through the center field gates to the street.

I was like 9, and the Red Sox lost to Toronto. All I remember is that it was freezing, so I couldn't concentrate on the game... although that was before I really got into baseball, so I couldn't tell what was going on.

It was when I was 6. The Mets vs the Phillies, Tom Seaver vs. Rick Wise. I don't remember the score but i do remember sitting 3 rows behind the mets dugout and having a great time.

I was around 19, when the Cardinals had traded Keith Hernandez to the Mets, and the Mets came to St Louis, I wanted to go. I cant remember who won but it was so fun to go to my first game and the food was great. I brought I love Keith Hernandez t shirt and wore it for years then my Mom wore it for years. I will never forget that and I still go to games and eat the food and buy Pujols shirts now.

I was 11 and saw Tom Seaver & the Mets beat the Pirates at Shea Sta. 1968

I was amazed at everything going on at the same time (baserunners)-- it wasn't anything like on TV. Also seeing Seaver hit the dirt to get out of the way of Jerry Grote's throw to second on a steal attempt.

I was about 10, and saw the Yankees at Yankee Stadium, but don't remember too much. The first game that I remember was in 1961 when my dad took me and a friend and we witnessed Roger Maris hit his 56th home run.
