1987 Minnesota Twins. Unlike the 1991 team, this team was not that good. They gave up more runs then they scored and still won the world series. At that point teams were still getting used to having to field flyballs against a white roof. Also until that year nobody realized how loud the Metrodome could get

'85 Royals. Had the ALCS been 5 games instead of 7, Don Denkinger would have been benefiting TORONTO in Game 6 of that Series.

2006 Cardinals.

Good-luckiest, anyway.

Bad-luckiest was probably the 1986 Indians. Ever have a day when nothing went right? They had 162 in a row.

No such thing as luck. You have to perform or choke between the white lines.

Most advantageous would be the 1981 Phillies & Dodgers. The Reds had the best record in baseball/NL West, Cardinals best record in the NL East, but they went with a split season, so both missed the playoffs.

1986 Mets. I'll admit a Sox bias.

C'mon people, *one strike*- whether you want to call that the Mets good luck or the Sox bad luck, either way, luck played a role. Mookie is forever the hero, poor Buck forever the goat...

There is no such thing as luck in baseball. There is only skill. As much as I hate to admit it, luck is not a factor. Nor will it ever be.
