yes the only time your fridge needs to sit is if it was moved on its side for some reason. in case it was moved on its' side you would need to let the refrigerant would need to drain back to the compressor.

sure move it anywhere and plug it in, no different than having it bought and put in place by the delivery people and turned on right then.

yeah. we actually just remodeled my kitchen and we had to move the fridge into another room. we just plugged it back in and it ran just the same. just make sure it isn't off to long
