My cousin is trying to figure out the name of a good restaurant. She says that she sometimes gets it confused with Bob Evans, it has a long name like three words or something, that it might start with an "S", it serves breakfast all day, it has columns in the front and looks like it has two stories, it is a casual sit down restaurant, it has yellow siding and a red roof, etc. Not all of these things are necessarily true, but what restaurant fits this description the best?

Okay, well it seems that each detail, on its own, might be a bit iffy, so I will take a stab at this. Besides, many times when we think something might start with a certain letter, we are completely wrong (at least, I know I often am), and we're lucky when that letter even appears in the actual result!

Could it be The Cracker Barrel? It is actually called the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, and one of those words DOES begin with an 'S'!

I hope that helped in some way.

I'll bet she is thinking of IHOP: The International House of Pancakes. They look different from town to town but that physical description is pretty close to the link I entered below. Plus, they definitely serve breakfast all day.

Shoneys? Steak and Shake?

I don't know. We don't have anything like you describe here in NY.
