Alpha Male (below) You have to take my above comment in context to what I was responding to.

Also: "They have also filed a request with the UN"

"They" are the government reps that Iraqis themselves do not like nor trust. So they really don't represent the people of Iraq. Much like Bush does not represent the "majority" of people in the US.

The idea of a democracy is that the majority rules. So, the Shiites, being the majority.

The Iraqi's may not have "asked" us to invade, but that was because Saddam had duct tape over their mouths (in a "if you defy me I'll drop nerve gas on your village" type of way). You hear any of them asking for Saddam back? They have also filed a request with the UN requesting that the U.S. and other allies stay in Iraq to help stabalize the region.

Nothing is his to hand over. Are you living under a rock somewhere. I am tired of the war like most are but I will not blame anyone but the Iraqis for not standing up for themselves. Peace NO but Sadam did!

i think we need separate these 2 take one group of people and put them on an island and the other stays put thats the only way we are going to get peace either that or just drop a WMD on the region. but we are too much of a p*ssy to do that when thats the only answer its kill or be killed
