Is that a good name, or is it a little too out there?

I couldn't use a word name that can also be associated with something negative. And since people most often refer to "bad karma," or the negative aspect of fate (people getting what they deserve and all), that would be many's initial thought.
Like perhaps you named her that because she was unplanned, or because she was a difficult baby just like you were (you know how our parents always "wish" that on us LOL), things like that. The sort of assumptions you wouldn't want in connection with your beautiful, wonderful, very-much-loved child, right? ;)
It's not like Felicity or something, where the word is always positive, know what I mean? I'd keep looking.

Venturing a litttttttle out there. How about Karman with the nickname of Karma?

I don't care for Karma. However, if her name were Carmen, you could call her Carma for short. I prefer Carmen with a C, instead of Karmen/Karmyn/etc.

I think it is an inappropriate name. What goes around comes around. This is really out there. Please think of other names close to it.

eeh, it's not something i would name a kid but it isn't awful. it would definitely make me think that the parents are hippies. but i have definitely heard names that make me cringe and that isn't one of them.
