I ws wondering how to convert them so i can put them on my iPod. The files saved as flash video files, incase that helps.

You can do it online by uploading your .flv files to the first url below. Scroll down the page a little, and you select the format you wish it to be in.
If you'd rather do it all on your computer, there are .flv converters available. The one I've listed below is not free, but does have a wide variety of formats into which you can convert them.
The third url give another online conversion site. You have to register, but it's free.

copy the URL of the video you want to download and open http://vixy.net/ and paste the URL on the URL box and select the convert to format you want to convert to and click start. It will start and when finish click save file to save to your HD.You can open multiple tabs of the website to convert multiple videos too.

you don't make much sense. youtube vids are flash video files. go to download.com and get dvdvideosoft. convert to mpeg video. import in itunes.
