grams(weight) = moles * m.w.

grams = 1 * 22.98 = 22.98

Using the equation
moles = mass(Grammes)/Relative Atomic Mass.
1 mol(Na) = mass(g)/23(Ar - Na)
Therefore mass of one mole(Na) = 1 x 23 = 23 grammes(Na)
