I wouldn't go about changing your hardware just yet. I would guess it is probably an advertisement your not seeing. What you should do is when you hit a site that seems to have such noises write it down and keep going if you start to see a trend in sites that you are re-visiting then there is a good chance your just not seeing the ad if it really annoys you then you should probably just hit the mute button. I would also try disconnecting from the I-net for a while and see if the noises continue if they do then I would consider the possibility it is a hardware or ad/spyware issue.

Hi Diamond,
Oooooohhhhh, be afraid...really afraid. Their coming to get you, run girl, RUN!!
Seriously, it sounds as though you got something running in the background. I would first clear all cookies from your computer, (see link below.) If that does not work, then I would set my security settings higher. (see link.)
If none of this works, go get a pistol and keep it by your side at ALL times. It's just a matter of time before that sucka will eat you alive!!
God be with you my child.

They are advertisements and there really is only one way to get rid of them. Stay off the internet. Yes i do realize that is a stupid responce but hey, so are the damned ads everywhere these days.

Sounds like you might have a bit of unwanted adware in there somewhere. Do a google for a free program called spybot and run your hard drive through it.

There could be a wireless baby monitor around that is comming through on the speakers. (I've seen it happen) If you are using firefox and are opening in tabs it could be from a tab that you are not seeing....

I would try first changing speakers and then try changing your sound card.

The CPU is possessed. You will need a priest to come and exorcise it for you.

Silence your volume.
Or take your computer to an exorcist.
