No. I have two huge dogs and I have them boarded. I try to lie to myself and say they are going to "puppy camp" so I won't feel guilty about leaving them. Truth is..... our vet is wonderful and they take great care of them both. But I still feel a little guilty. It's just that it is impossible to take them to the beach and keep them where we stay. *sigh* I miss them so much though. It's always fun coming home to them when the break is done.
So you just got back....... did you leave a little critter behind??

I don't. Most cats don't like changes in their routines and are happier to stay at home so I have a cat sitter. She comes in once a day and also picks up the mail (yayy Kerrie). The cats all like her and she likes them so it's fine.
My mom on the other hand is away for weeks at a time at a cottage so she brings her cats there. They adapt well every year and love to run along the beach.

Too many,5 dogs,5 cats,2 iguanas and my husband,it would cost a fortune,so I vacation alone.

Unfortunately, I can't, because my cat is frightened to death to be anywhere but home. He cries when we bring him so far outside and he can't see our house anymore, and when we put him in a car or a plane. So we just leave Tigger at the vet for a couple of days, NEVER more than a week because by then, we miss him too much :)

It just depends on where I am going! I have a yorkie and a chihuahua... I go out of town about 2times a month... So if I am driving I will take them! If I fly they stay at the dog sitters ;)

I did about almost 2 yrs. ,but i wouldn't take her now,because she is getting too old and i won't even leave her alone.We went to Florida from Ohio in a car and she did real good.Before we went though i took her to the vet. and had her checked out ,and asked the vet. her opinion.Have a good day.

Yes. Even taken horses along. They get their own room.
