Imo, temptations fall in what I categorize as addictions.
This makes them extremely difficult to resist since resisting causes pain or suffering. Imo the old way of looking at this phenomena is pure hogwash. Why do you think there are so many "sex perverts" around. Do you think people set out to become the "scum of the earth" and lose their self-respect, their families, their careers, and everything they worked so hard for? Do you think that people don't realize when they are addicted to excessive eatingthat they are on their way to losing their health? No one, imo, is that stupid. They just don't know how to get out of their traps, how to escape these temptations if you wish .
My favourite temptation is that I get pleasure in the thought that I can set people straight on subjects like this one regardless of how impossible it actually is. I guess you could say that I am a gambler who prefers the long shots.

My favorite temptation is checking out my wife's sexy sister whenever I get the chance to and not getting caught by my wife and sort of letting my eyes get caught by my sister in law. My sister in law catches me from time to time but doesn't say anything. I think my sister in law likes the attention not that she needs it from me though.
Can I resist? I have no choice but 2.
