Yeah, My finacee plays Ps2...but most of what he plays is usually the sports games, like Madden. I don't care, it's his way to relax and let go, at the same time it gives me time to take a bath or do something I have to do without his input. Also it's the perfect time to ask him if I can spend money because hes less likely to think too hard about it!

Im not married but we have been together for 2 years and have a 4 month old son together. He plays all types of video games. He has got this crazy set up on the third floor with all of his computer stuff and 4 video game systems. It doesnt bother me. He normally only plays them after my son and I go to bed since he works the afternoon to evening and I work the mornings. He is a HUGE gamer.

Target market for video games has been creeping up from 25-35 into the low 40's.
I know a number of married guys at work that play online games together as a group.
It's just one more form of entertainment - and it beats getting hammered at the local bar and trying to drive home.

My husband is always playing when he gets the chance. He plays about 1 to 2 hrs a day. It can be frustrating. But It has helped him bond with my son (his stepson) so I can't complain to much. I do feel like I have Three kids at times.LOL

Only when I'm not home, and there isn't anything on TV. He use to play much more then he does now though. It doesn't bother me, he needs something to do to unwind. And if playing video games does that for him, then who am I to tell him not too. He has a lot of stress with work and stuff. And if I come home and he is playing them I go find something else to do, until he is done. I also play them when I'm really bored. Of course he wont play GT4 with me any more cause I kick his a**!

I'm not a wife but I'm the husband and I play video games a lot. Recently what I have done is I sold my playstation 2 and my regular x-box and me and my wife have a nintendo wii. My wife loves to watch her reality t.v so I have my laptop and I play computer games right next to her while she watches t.v, and then if there is a show im interested in or something then i watch it with her.

I don't have a hubby, but I can certainly weigh in on my ex boyfriend.
We lived together for two years and he touted himself as a "video game athlete". We (excuse me...) HE had every console available...plus a lot of games for each. He also played games on the computer.
On his days off, he would play 8+ hours....and THEN, don't let a new game come out. It was worse than that. He had to play until he beat the game.
It put a serious strain on our relationship.
:-(

I have alot of married friends and they all play video games also. My wife also plays xbox so it isnt an issue for us and it isnt our life it is just something fun to do when there is nothing else to do.

My husband plays computer games and play station games. It doesn't really bother me as I play computer games too. Also we make a point of limiting our game play time to ensure we leave enough time for other things.

My hubby got me addicted to WOW World of Warcraft. We even set up two computers so when we have free time we can play together... He is turning 30 and I will be 29. Actually in our guild there are a lot of couples both dating and married. ONe couple is married and he is in the army and away from home, so he and his wife play together in order to spend time together. IT has an instant chat. Not weird. :)
