Energy is a process or phenomena which could not take place without a pressure of space causing a mass to move.
If The substance of space is dark matter ,then it is implied that there exist in the voume of space a contaiment which contains Dark power locked in as a space pressure in order to cause the motion of a moving mass.
Therefore; there had to be during the Creation of the Universe an external restrain to the volume of space to cause the motion of all celestial bodies. Hence a Created finite entity called the Universe.
The Big Bang theory of Creation of the Universe does not address any boundaries before and after Creation.
It is neverthe less a most interesting theory in the History of Cosmology.

Hi Bridgette L in the beginning every thing in the universe was compressed into a microscopic point of energy. In the beginning this point of energy exploded we are not sure why, (I believe it was the word of God), within a few seconds the initial energy had started to form through gravity large masses which would after a millions of years condense into galaxy's, stars and planets. Some twenty five billion years later the Earth was created and after a further four and a half billion years man arrived and eventually in a very time rearly, through not listening to God made a complete mess of it all.

the big bang was everything. it started as a little ball of energy, then it exploded. that explosion actually created space and time not just matter. so there was no before and there was no beyond since there was no time or space. then once it exploded all of the energy cooled down in a few seconds to a minute and formed quarks and leptons (leptons are things like electrons). then quarks formed protons and neutrons. and protons neurtons and electrons combined to form all of the elements known today, and proably some we have discovered or made.

In a way it is, but it would be more accurate to say that they are a result of the big bang.
