Is there a version of mame that show gameplay video instead of the snapshot?

mame32k
mame32fx

No there is not but if you use a front end program such as GameEx http://www.gameex.net/ you can make video and use it in the front end part showing the game(s).

Best I have found and it really makes a great looking main screen on a Mame Cabinet.
