Well, to be honest, I am not quite sure how I feel about the video. As for people asking why straight people are looking at questions in the G/L/TG forum, please keep in mind that these questions (like all others) appear in other forums, as well. When the catch phrase of the question is directed at "anti-homosexual" people (as this one was), then of course it is natural that curiosity may cause you to read the question....thus "come to this forum".
That said.....I really do not know how to counter the arguments in the video. I find this all very confusing. See, I have family members and friends who are gay. I love those people and see that in their lives, they are happy and are good people. I can find no reason to condemn them, other than the religion that I have been taught for my entire life condems thier actions of homosexuality. It is truly difficult to justify anti-homosexual beliefs from a Christian's point of view UNLESS you quote scripture. THere are times in a Christian's life that he or she must take a stand on an issue simply because their faith dictates that they must. I can compare this to a child who chooses to adhere to his parent's rules even though he doesn't understand why the parents made that rule. The child just has to trust that the parents (who are more knowledgeable than he) has a good reason for making that rule and that the child's trust in the parent (or the CHristian's trust in God) will not lead him astray.

Brilliant Video. There is honestly NO logical Argument anymore.
Back when, MY people used to kill them because they didn't make the tribe grow. There was some logic to it.
All they ever do is quote some book that's been edited and re-edited so many times and translated and dumbed down it's not even close to the original text. I've was fortunate enough to have opportunity to read a 500 year old copy written in latin. Not even close to the same book.
The saddest thing is, when the humans forget their original language and can no longer speak to their own god.
how many xtians speak what the bible was originally written in. . .
psst shelly, LUST is a SIN

Well, I see no argument, just the same ole stuff from the closeted, religious fanatics who are too scared to come out and admit that the only reason they are in the LGBT section is because they want answers, themselves, as to why they are attracted to the same sex but yet are afraid to join into a conversation to address the topic for fear that their God will condemn them.
How do you like that sentence?!
And, to JustAskin: YOU are the one who comes here spouting your religious rhetoric. YOU are the one seeking argument.
My God is loving. My God shows no discrimination. My God loves you for who you are and loves me for who I am. I do not fear my God, why do you fear yours? Why do you insist that your God is different? I am a Christian so you know who my God is. Who is yours?
Shelley M: Please, never come out of the closet!!
***
Shelley, find a straight man - that's your preference. Didn't you just say that lesbians make it so that there are more straight men for you? Well then, find one and quit trying to change somebody who has no desire to be with you sexually.
JustAskin - You're on the wrong forum. Take your religious spewing someplace else.

Heterophobes can be considered simply disgusting & abnormal to some, if not immoral. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Same old tired arguments here, totally biased. Your man didn't address the obvious: the "ick" factor. Buttholes were made for EXITS, not entrances! Two men making out, or referring to one another as being "my husband", etc., is unthinkable to most of us.
As for lesbians, I don't have much to say about them. Sure, I'd be grossed out beyond words to do or even SEE what they do in bed, but in the big picture they are actually doing the rest of us a favor. See, there is a HUGE shortage of straight men left in the world, and for every woman out there who chooses to sex up with other women, she is leaving one more straight guy available to the rest of us. With straight men rapidly becoming an endangered species, I say - GO LESBIANS!!!!!
*Edit* - I am NOT in any damn closet! I have NO attraction WHATSOEVER to other women. I only am concerned with LGBT "issues" due to the fact that I have spent the last TEN YEARS of my life being hopelessly in love with a gay man. If he "loves" ME so much as he SAYS he does, and "love knows no gender", as all you gays are so fond of saying, then WHY won't he be "with" me???!? WHY should I be alienated from his (physical) affections solely based on the fact that I happened to be born without a PENIS??!?! I don't think that this is fair or right, and I'm just looking for some answers here!
