It says to make an offering, but I'm so confused. How do I do that or how do I use it?

Just stand still for a while. You'll go into the "I'm going to sleep now" animation that happens when you stop playing for a while. When you lay down flowers will start springing up around you and you'll start losing money and gaining health.
The money lose stops when your health maxes out. It's not fast, but it can be useful before you start getting enough dropped bones that using them to heal is faster than the mat.

Absolutely!!!!!!! you need to get GOD OF WAR aswell, the second one is due in March. Okami is an awesome game, it just goes to show that the PS2 still delivers great GREAT games.

Well what you need to do to restore your health is just to stand still and don't move. After a while you will see flowers begin to grow around you. That's the sign that you are restoring your health.
