ok why are pants sizes so different? i mean i'll go to american eagle and i usually wear a 2, then i go to old navy i usually wear a 4, then i go to aeropostale i wear a 3, THEN i go to kohls and Hollister and i wear a 5. Why cant they all just be the same??

haha I totally know how that is! I wish they were the same everywhere too. I usually wear about a 12..but then I can fit into a 5, and then sometimes an 11..I guess it just all depends on the brand..which is really annoying if you ask me.

there is no standard for women like there are for mens sizes.
it would be great if they did have a standard.
manufacturers try to keep it about the same but it's a loose rule they follow.
same with the styles and cuts. not all thin or boot cuts or relaxed are the same either.
some have different ways of cutting for the same sort of style.
it's enough to make you want to wear your boyfriends jeans lol

i found 1 brand that fits me perfectly. i stick with it. i don't buy other brands bcse it's just such a p.i.t.a. to have to try on 10 pairs to get 1 that fits.... when i know if i go to this 1 brand they all fit me in tha t1 size

a lot of clothing stores/lines do size adjustments...it's marketing; a woman will tend to buy clothing if the little label is telling her she's a size smaller than she really is.

I don't know, i have the same problem. But im also short, so its so difficult finding jeans that aren't to the floor!
