Yes. I have a permit and carry EVERYWHERE (except where prohibited. I have the safety and piece of mind knowing that I have control over my own safety and therefore am substantially less prone to becomming a statistic.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'd rather have my S&W .38 than have to rely on a dispatcher on the other end of my cellphone to protect me against a murderer, robber, criminal, whatever.

Yes. I have a target model Smith and Wesson 38 cal. revolver that is in a 44 frame. The reason for the 44 frame is that it is much stronger than the 38 frame.

It is a very accurate gun. I enjoy taking to the range and shooting at targets.

I do not exercise my right to keep and bear arms because I don't trust myself with that particular freedom. I know that I would eventually lose it and pop some jerk who desperaterly needed it.

I do like knowing that I could legally have a gun if I weren't so trigger happy.

I do have several marksmanship awards, which scares me even more.

Well, although I know how to shoot, I'm not much into guns. But if I needed one, I'd be happy that I could have one.
